For my first tool I simply focused on using the Text tool. I did research on this tool before, but this was my opportunity to really engage in the tool and make my own original work. I played around with both the Vertical and Horizontal text tools and I made a “Hello/Hi” board using different fonts, sizes, colors to border the picture. For the center Hello and Hi’s I used the different focuses and even made my font in the shape of a fish, which I found to be very cool. I also thought it was necessary to make the background black because the lettering and colors look that much cooler.
The second tool I used was the Eraser tool. I used this tool on an image that I thought I could do a lot with. Everything shown in my new image was used by different erasers. I added things onto the photo that were just different eraser marks, but I thought most of them looked as if they fit into the picture. I then used a colored eraser to make the sky which included a sun and clouds while making the picture seem as if it was a zoomed in version of the horizon.
The last tool that I used was the Gradient tool. I found this tool to be the most difficult to understand of the 3 tools I chose, but also the most interesting. I played around with this tool for a while, but it took time to understand what exactly the lines were doing when I dragged them. After using the top tools and different colors I thought that this picture showed the most emotion and was the most interesting.
